Looking for 318ia 1999/2000

Re: Looking for 318ia 1999/2000

Bro, this one has a pretty weak engine compared to the later 318s as it only has 110bhp. Might feel kinda underpowered.

Re: Looking for 318ia 1999/2000

Thks for the pointer...thought of 00/01 beemers as din want to splash out to much cash...so the 2002 318ia better?

Re: Looking for 318ia 1999/2000

the E36 (00/01) 318 is 1.9L -- not really under powered, think is 118bhp
the E46 (fr end 02) 318 is 2.0L -- 143bhp

If you like the roar of BMW, E36 is better. E46 (Valvetronic) engine is smoother and does not roar :(

What is the roar of a Bimmer? If u mean a more sporty note, this can be easily solved by having a Gruppe M cold air intake and an aftermarket exhaust system!

Re: Looking for 318ia 1999/2000

Apart from horsepower...anybody knows the difference between the time it takes 0-100km/h for the E36 / E46?

Bro, u may need to be more specific coz within the e36, there is 316, 318, 318is, 320, 323, 328. Within the e46, there is 318(1.9L), 318 (2L valvetronic), 320 (2L), 320 (2.2L), 323/325, 328, 330.
