Local makan outing

Hi everyone,ever since came back from malacca,i discover there's alot of us who really likes to find good food to eat,therefore I suggest why not we have a local makan outing in the near future,my suggestion is mala steamboat,but anyone can just give suggestions,no problem.Bro dave,count you in liao.cheers

actually when i first step into the forum, i have the mind set that every drivers of a bimmer must a doctor or some lawyer.
I even though u guys will eat only at hotel resturants and gather a goft course for a afternoon game and drink high tea at Raffles Hotel. (maybe i am right?)
but after going 1 morning drive and 1 monthy outing, i think everyone is like me, drink $0.70 kopi from coffee shop and eat char bee hoon + fried egg $1.30 every day ~ ........... gosh.. am i right ?

I miss those days with my gaming buddies.... we are crazy !

Hi Guys,

I agree with all of you...we should inject some form of "new entertainment" after meet-up if not many would feel that it is same old meet-up expecting new developments. I concur we should have at least have dinner together after monthly meet-up.

Good idea,alot of good food around geylang,katong,joo chiat and east coast area.Can just proceed after meet up,so any bros here have any date suggestions and locations?let's get it done ASAP.

Saify...what you have mentioned about the makan has made be dripping with salvia for the the food. If you organised...I am sure many will give you face and ensure that they will turn up if not you will trounce them up.

Geylang is near, but if 20+ cars going, we will take up 2 streets of carpark.

Anyone still takes MRT (since this is a car forum), at Aljunied station, there is a car park just right beside the coffee shop.

I have no idea what type of food they serving, but what i can see when i go out on Saturday night without my car, "if you drink, dont drive", alot of families eating at the zhi char stall.

- Geylang in-Famous Beef Char Kuay Teow (Lorong 9)
- Famous hot and sexy boss's daughter Soya Bean + Yu Tiao stall ( Lorong 9)
- Dim Sum, Wan Toh Seh (Lorong 15)
- Dim Sum, Mongolian Dim Sum (Lorong EIGHT, not sunglass 8) )
- Mixed Pig Organ aka Mr Piggy Merc E-Class (Lorong 19) :nehnehhh:
- Porriage (almost everywhere..., personal fav. Lor 9 )
- Durians all along Sims Ave Lorong 7 - Lorong 19)

If we looking for a makan spot, i guess the most important point in CAR PARK.
