$7500 for OEM HID ???????? U gotta be kidding. I sell u at 1/2 price ok ??  Original Xenon is only selling $3000 bucks at PML....

The side indicator together with the rear is only 600 to 700 bucks at PML unless it's not a E46 u talking about...

Holy shit, some dude must have tried to rip me off! Do the signal indicators really cost $600? I've got the orangey signal in my headlights too, is it possible to get rid of it? Apparently the workshop dude said it would cost more because fo the LED brake lights and would have to change the WHOLE god damn thing.

As for the Xenon lights, I did'nt know that we could just get the light kit alone. Cause the $7500 was for this headlight that had some self levelling or adapting or whatever they call it function.

Will it void the warranty if I change the signal indicators and headlights?

Oh yea its a E46 I'm referring to... Hehe just got my car 2 weeks ago only... So damn green when it comes to BMW stuff

From what u have said, I supposed u r driving a coupe since u mentioned LED lights and it start to make sense why the high price...

I don think u can just change the indicator alone as it's one whole cluster if i am not wrong.

But the last i understand is that the Xenon is 5k at PML and ur 7.5k might be the whole thing including the rear....

Yup its a coupe... So i guess its really $2500 to change the 3 pairs of orangey signal markers?

As for the HID, I was thinking if there were any HID kits that I could fit without any check engine lights coming on. As easy as a Jap car and converting it to HID without any problems...

A friend of mine fitted it onto a pre-fl E46 and his head light warning indicator has been permanently on since... Which in this case has prompted me to seek advice from all you experienced blokes out there...

Regards

Hi there,

I belief yours is a facelifted coupe?

If it indeed is, then its correct. The entire set costs about 2.2K (that's what I paid) - its costlier than the nonfacelifted versions cos they cant just change the orange light..need to change the entire front and rear light clusters.. What to do. :)

I was quoted about 6-7K for the xenons too. Its adaptive headlights, that is the lights swing into the corner when your car is turning. The xenons contains clear indicators already, so you should subtract the front clear lights from 2.2K - probably 1+k I reckon.

Anyway, its bloody expensive.

Cheers!

Hi,

There is two method to get rid of the head light warning indicator are :-
1) by reprogram 2) remove fuse nos.32 for pre-fl E46.

:)
