LED light on E60 M Wing Mirror

Hello,

I have fitted a pair of M Wing Mirror on my E60 three weeks ago and just realise there is LED lighting at the bottom of the mirror. Problem is it doesnt work The mirror can fold can tilt can anti-dazzle but cannot on light. I thought maybe its the signal light, hee, tried on signal also cannot work! Can someone enlighten me on how to on the LED light and also the purpose of it?

its the entry lights you have to go to pml to get the software to make it work

yup...have to go back to PML to get the software anyway its not signal lights its puddle lights.. will light up when u open the door..together with interior lights

OIC, Thanks Guys! I guess i will wait till my first servicing at 20k km then get the software.

Yup, only if you have OEM M5 mirrors....

Here's a pic of my M5 mirrors with LED puddle lights....

Dun need to go back to PML to get it done. PML will charge a hell lot........

I can get them to work if anybody interested.
