i used to drive an e46 318i, and i was like embarrased countless times by volvos and even a toyota camry!!!!!! disillusioned now. sold it 2 weeks ago. think bimmer should get rid of all their 4-cylinder units. they run out of puff too easily.

I have a silver colour end may 2000 E46 318i and want to let it go... number plate goes with the car. sdd8811e.....full service history. indeed a joy to own and drive but my family has grown in size and need something larger.

i got my E46 318i 2.0l in Nov04. i was searching around forums like delphi, etc but noticed that there were no activities there till i stumbled upon this one where everybody is. looking forward to learn about my ride fro myou guys. Cheers!

maybe was over-confident. i drive to max in my cars. the 318i could not hit pass 196km/h. was subsequently caned by the camry and volvo s60 2.0T. it is the truth.

maybe people hate my looks. or guts. but the truth is the 4 pots in the bimmer cannot pace the alfa. i tried that too.

strange; i owned both the PFL 1.9 318 n the 2.0 valvetronic; the PFL was stock in engine except the K&N filter ; in fact, iwas runnin on 18" rims n lowered so acceleration shld be slow; i did manage to pass 200km/h on the N-S b4. valvetronic shld also hit there easily, although i wld say the climb fm 170-200 was slow.

yes, i also workin as a Senior waiter in Crown Prince hotel. seems like we in the same line because some customers kids call me ko ko.

My previous E46 also went beyond 190km/hr effortlessly on AYE to ECP at 2am in the morning. Dun report me to TP.

i have never looked down on the 4 potters.. they are fast enough.. it's got nothing to do with the car.. the car works fine, dunno bout you... you've got alot up ur head.. im serious bout that.. maybe that's why you say 4 potters can make it. CALL me senior newbie.

Pls verify your BMW capacity, it might be rebadged as 318i and was supposed to be a 316i.
Pls be more specific on the pace alfa issue, are you refering to BMW 2002ti era? Then you are very wrong....
