L/100KM Read out stuck!

Hi,

Just realised that my gas consumption is stuck at 0.5L/100KM. I travel alot on the highway but such a mileage is quite unbealievable. Just realised it has been stuck for over 3 days. Not too sure what to do, my ride is still under warranty.
My car is relatively stock, no CAI etc, with the exception of bigger rims and projector headlights. I tried resetting the on board computer also but can't get the L/100KM meter to reset itself
Anyone has any ideas?

I suspect the meter is at fault. The electronics behind the calculation do not usually fail. The mechanical mechanism has a higher degree of possibility. If you meters do not have the silver rings, PML should have no way to reject the warranty claim

You might want to disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and connect it back, it'll reset everything inclucding the radio stations. Try to monitor it first before you send your ride back to PML.

Disconnecting the battery for 15min will not reset the radio station... In fact if u plug out the headunit for a week, the radio station will be be in there...

Jaskin, go back to PML to get it checked.. if it's nothing wrong, your 63L of fuel can travel for a year liao hahaha !!

Hi Jaskin - I have the same problem as you.. Car approaching one year old... Is yours the same? The l/100km auto reset and it has been 0.0. 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and now 0.5 over the last week... Your situation the same?

Hi Jaskin... wanted to find out whether you have sorted your meter out yet?
I have not been given any appt dates as such.. yourself?

Mines showing 2.1L/100KM now. just made an appointment for next week to bring my car in.

Got it fix. I think PML changed my fuel sensors.
