Knocking sound

Knocking sound from my E60 when the key is off during the steering wheel is moving upwards. This there anything giving way? Plus there is a soft knock sound from the steering rack when making a turn. Could the problem be link?

not sure about the 1st problem...

but the 2nd problem if theres sound when turning... could mean anything from worn out arms , bushings or even steering rack

Wah sound like many things can happen and may cause safety issue. I guess got to really make trip to work shop liao which I m very lazy to do so... bopian la tks for the reply
