Hi guys,
before I shoot my question, I drive a 2002 318i pre-fl model with M43 engine. I notice something is not quite rite with my car today. As I turn the steering wheel left and right, I can hear a knocking noise coming from the front of the car (not from the steering column). This only happens when I turn the steering wheel rather quickly. But if I did it smoothly, the noise was gone.
I wonder if the noise comes from worn ball joint. Any thoughts?
FYI, I just replaced the control arm bushing about 3000kms ago. So I dont think its the bushings.
