Re: Klot Klot sound

maybe its your shocks hitting against the bump stops. of course, thats if the road is really bad...

Re: Klot Klot sound

Sounds like a control arm bushing problem to me.

Happened on my 3 series before.

i changed my rear left top shock mount twice....! it solved the problem only temporary. then the klot klot sound came back. damn irritating. but its was under warranty at that time. so i demanded PML to change lor...

after changing to PSS9. all klot klot sound gone...now suspension is stiff and silent and superb!

my sound was from rear left. its a prominent sound whenever i go thru bumps. happens more when i drive slow. its suspension related lor.

Re: Klot Klot sound

Are u still on stock suspension or something else. For my case, i had the sound from both front and rear and i'm running pss9. what happens is that some wear and tear happens on the springs which are coated by a hard layer, once this wears off they will start hitting each other and producing those tok tok sound.

Initially thot it was the mounts/bushing as well (replaced them with aftermkt ones, m3) ...waste of money !!

Until one day i decided to get my pss9 cleaned out and the mechs found out the problem.

Solution: they cut a hose and wrapped it around the springs that had the abrasions. Wala , no more sound. PS..forget abt asking BVO to do it, they dun have time for this type of thingy. cost abt 85 bucks..cheep !

Cheers !
