It's a factory build. No one i know has done a keyless entry, unless im wrong..

bro, keyless entry as in you walk away from your car, the car auto locks without you pressing anything and when u walk close, it unlocks ?

If this is the type you want.. i did this b4 on my previous ride.. it is 1 whole set of alarm system... when i walk close, the door unlocks, when i walk away, the door auto locks itself... but there is still a remote that you will have to keep on your body.. soemthing like a sensor...

Haaa....TJY..correct ..i was more thinking on the programming of the frequency aspect. Anyway what alarm did you use for the keyless??

Technically, comfort access - if installed by oneself - need approval from uncle IDA.

Look carefully at the latest car remote it has something like approved by IDA .... any wireless system need gov.sg approval...if not, gov can say it is illegal. BUT if it comes installed with the car, by manufacturer.. usually sure to pass IDA ... approval... but their name should be somewhere... Those integrated with car.. need subsequent programing - etc... so not an individual job...

i don't know what brand it is. Was just recommended by the installer and it sounded quite amazing to me at that point of time.. so fixed it.. am not sure if they still have it, but you can give it a call.. Driverscorner pte ltd, tel :63820604 ..

BMW comfort access requires the driver to tap on the door handle with your thumb above the key hole. once inside, you can press the start button to start your ride w/o having to insert the key fob too...! simply awesome. i like it too, but my car dont have it. i want to retrofit too.

It's awesome if it works. I ordered comfort access with my car and the damn thing had problem since day 1. Sometimes it works, other times, it has a mind of its own. I usually look like an idiot dancing around molesting the door handle a few times before it yields. Sent it in and they found an antenna not working very well, but the replacement part is taking ages to order...
