Key less entry

My key less entry on my 2GT driver door is not working well lately. Can only use passenger side door to lock. What could be wrong.

My key less entry on my 2GT driver door is not working well lately. Can only use passenger side door to lock. What could be wrong.

Did you change your key fob battery? PML told me the batteries sold outside is not working well with their key fob and they recommended using the Varta ones sold by them. I think it's $17 bef gst. Had the same problem on X3 and changed battery on my own but problem persisted then PML replaced to theirs and works fine after that till now.

I changed my key battery but my wife key which holds original bm batt also cannot open e door on driver side.

May have to go down svc center for a check
