Key got struck!! Help!

Maybe is a very rare problem..
But it happened to me today.. the story goes like this..

While I was waiting for my wife, I decide to off my engine, but instead of pushing the "start engine" button, I accidentally push the key instead.
Some how or rather the key ejected, thereafter I go push the "start engine" button to OFF my engine.... when I go back to try to take out my key, I found my key got stuck in the hole.. is like the magnetic thing inside holding to my key!! I tried to pull or even push the key but the eject effect is gone and I just couldn't take out the key!!!!

No choice but I have to leave my key there and use my spare key to lock the car.

What should I do now???
Should I go PML to let them help me take out? or go BOSS?

I tell u what bro, I went down to check.. is on "N".. :woottt:

Paiseh!! Is my 5th day on my pre-owned 325i (previous car was a Type R - 6-sp manual) still trying to get use to auto gear;.. but even GPS on iDrive also dun know how to use..

Anyway thanks for the tips!!!

Yeah.. but I should have identify the problem, cos 4-yrs ago I ever owned a C-Class.. the same problem that my key couldn't put out when my gear is on "P"

At least you are honest enough to update us the story Usually its advisable to put to drive and park your car even w/o pulling handbrake is fine...IMO.

At least you are honest enough to update us the story Usually its advisable to put to drive and park your car even w/o pulling handbrake is fine...IMO.

Jarren, you are not alone...i encountered this incident too but realised the gear was in "N". sure gave me a fright at that point in time when the key was "stuck".
