karting session.

hi people,

the bbq was a success. it turned out better than i expected. you guys rock.

after discussing with some of you, i've decided to organize a karting day. this would be held in jb at the permas jaya track. i'm currently in contact with the guys there trying to get us a good quote for a session.

tentatively, here are the details:

date: 1st april 2006 (no april fools jokes please)
time: 1030am
venue: permas jaya karting track

meetup time: 9am.
meetup venue: turf city carpark

hopefully we can bunk cars and have a convoy that's easier to handle. drivers familiar with malaysian roads please take initiative and put down how many passengers you can take. those who need lifts please state that you need a lift next to your nick. i will leave the bunking choices up to you. haha but also please remember that those giving lifts are being generous so you should not expect a lift. do give big thanks to those who offer

yes, rather be hot, than stuck in a jam for 2 hours...
plus if you go in the evening, by time you finish, makan dinner and head back, confirm will be peak time at the causeway going back as well.

yeap... its ok to be hot...tyres stick to the road better..haha.. and at most, we'll probably be on the track 20mins to 30mins (but i dun mind more...)

ok guys, due to demand from the f1 racers here, we'll shift the session to the morning. the track only opens at 1030am, so if we reach there around that time, it would be best.

this means meetup at kallang should be at 9am.

that sounds about right if no one comes late. And pls bring walkies so the convoy can communicate. I'm sure we'll all lose each other in the causeway.

Best to bring yr own helmet n gloves. Trust me, u dont wanna use the helmets there (sweaty n smelly) ...less u want pimples n rashes on yr head..haha.

Wow, didnt know they open now on Saturdays at 10.30..last i remember only opens at 12pm for weekends. I'll let u know later if i can make it.
