Just ordered my E82 - 2010 Production

Hi People


Just place an order for the E82 - 2010 Production. Taking delivery in March/April 2010

Below are the specs, any advise if i should add some other stuff? Also please answer questions in red. Thanks

Lol Smokers package is good if you smoke (duh) like ashtray and stuff.
extended light package is the door handle lights and some other ambience lighting
Headlight washer? Not much use in S'pore, usually good for dusty areas or places that snow pretty badly and frost up the whole healight!
All the M-Sport package stuff is just pretty much what it's described... Headliner is ur interior roof... High gloss shadowline is the black border around your door windows on the outside!

M-Sport bodykit? E82 don't have M-sport bodykit la... haha..

Good buy! I'm sure it's a PI car!(not that anything is wrong!) cuz got quite a number of redundant stuff in terms of S'pore roads

Congrats! But 6 months :roll: . The anticipation's gonna be tough man.

You might want to specify an IPOD adaptor. I don't see it in the list.

Congrats on your AW 135i!

You're gonna have lots of fun. Only downside is that I've been getting a lot of attention from the TP lately. A side effect of this car.

Should be stock sound system....i think the first few months ..i wouldnt care about sound system...would probably wind down the windows and hear the revs hahaha

childseat i believe are the clips at the bottom of the rear seat that enables u to attach child seats securely at the rear.

alarm shld just be an imobiliser

rather than generating noise like a regular alarm it is an electronic device fitted to an automobile which prevents the engine from running unless the correct key fob is present. This prevents the car from being "hot wired" after entry has been achieved.

btw why is ur wait for the car so long?

Got from PI....they getting for me the 2010 model...production probably start in Jan...1 month build 1 month ship .. 1 month register...so roughly Mar/Apr

Hopefully its early Mar

Why leh? Sounds like too long?? I asked PML...they said indent..will take 3-6months as well leh.. or did i just got cheated?

first of all, i like to congratulate you on a good choice of a value for money german ultimate driving machine. like to highlight the following -
fact 1 - my ride was the first manual 6-sp with sunroof and minimum specs ordered.
fact 2 - it was ordered from PML who were very reluctant to offer me the 135i.
fact 3 - being the first with sunroof i had to go thru homologation which took 4wks.
fact 4 - only 5mths after paying the indent $$ car was ready for collection.
hence, if PML takes 5mths inclusive of homologation and the current cars no longer needing homo, 5-6mths is bit long to wait.

hate to tell you but, after you checked out PI vs PML weighing pros & cons you made your decision. whatever happens, dotted line has been signed and $$ paid which means nothing much can be changed. just wait .. wait . .
but, personally its taking a wee bit long even if '10 model (whatever FL or improvements are there?) as preceding yr's model is produced usually in previous yr's last QTR.

its natural that PML will b able to bring in shipment faster than PI. but from ur posts your PI is not too far off la, no worries
