is changing my angel eyes illegal?

i plan to change my angel eyes on my E60 to white ones... is it illegal? what are the chances i get caught"?

Most of us have got it on our E46 and to date I've not heard anyone getting caught with it. I've even passed my Vicom inspection just recently with those buggers along with my Philips Diamond vision bulbs on.
