I have bought a set of Japanese alarm system purported to be features packed.. got feedback signal, remote engine start and talkie with other similar users.
Err, the feedback signal is a nice touch coz it operates on radio-wave (longer range and not necessary line of sight) so that you can received a signal back if the car is actually locked or unlock when you command it on the remote.
The engine starting and stopping pretty cool but lasted only for 1 week, went back and it work again for 1 week and continued like this...so I gave up on that feature liao.
For the talkie bits, it's really impractical coz I still don't know how to use it (all instruction in Japanese including their website... send email no reply maybe should go see the video English Lesson.... kekekekek. This function seemed to be incorporated into the module that also sound the alarm.. so a few accidental mis-command makes those sitting in the car close to going deaf. I gave up with this function and now move that stupid module underneath the dash board with some make shift sound proofing material....just in case.
It was supposed to retail at $368 but during the promotion it was half priced... see impulsive purchase brings about regrets... tsk tsk.
