Introducing a 'New-Old' Member

I've just joined with the prospect of taking delivery of my BMW 523i in a few days' time. However, I have been a BMW owner for quite a while, having had a 1936 BMW 315 Saloon for about 20 years. So the 523i will be the 2nd Bimmer in my small collection of cars.

Looking forward to hearing of other BMW enthusiasts' experiences with their cars and service providers.

Yes - 1936 and MOCKNGBRD showed the pic of my car. Not a Dixi (that was BMW's first foray into making cars and the Dixi was a licence-built Austin 7), but a 1500 cc 6 cylinder twin carb 'proper' BMW with the original kidney grill.
