after a long and arduous 3+ months, i have finally nearly reached the end of my mod fever.
when i was washing my car this afternoon, it seems that there is another major thing that needs to be fixed - the roof interior seems to be 'blistering'
:furious:
this has happened to my previous other rides - e30 and e36.
seems that the hot and humid weather here makes it detoriorate faster. the fabric part detaches from whatever it was stuck to and forms the 'blisters'.
have checked on the cost for my e36 previously and decided against changing it as i was going to scrap it soon anyway - would have cost more than $1k+ :screwedu:
but i am intending to keep my e46 for at least another couple of years and from experience the 'blistering' will only get worse
does anybody know whether there's anyway to repair this, besides ordering the entire piece from PML?
guess the e30 and e36 owners will have experience with this as the deterioration begins usually after at least 5 years.
any advice will be most appreciated.
