hi japboy, i highly recommend the leather cleanning foam from BMW and the UV leather care for conditioning. tried quite a few combinations and this one keeps the leather as matt as when you first got it.

try using a soft finger nail brush to scrub/ aggitate the leather from time to time. it works wonders in bringing the leather back to life giving that new look.

Re: Interior Care

Dear Slater,

Thanks. I presume we need to get this at PML or do you know of a better place to ge them....

thanks once again.

Re: Interior Care

use damp micro-fibre cloth to wipe interior and leather..then use 3M leather and vinyl restorer to apply on leather (and vinyl if needed)..

Re: Interior Care

Need some advise. Found some white powdery spots on the dashboard. Try wiping it off with a damp cloth, but after drying it will appear again. Just want to know how to get rid of it? Is the dashboard cover with hard leather as well, so need to get leather care products to get rid of it?

Thanxs!

Re: Interior Care

nope your dash is not hard leather. Only M5 comes with full leather wrap as standard. The dash is made with the same material( soft and heavy rubber). I used some vinyl care but that made it too black and shiny. So the cure is to look for Matt vinyl care. The white spots could be harden dust. Try to rub it off slowly and patiently. If not you will have reason to swap out with a M dash board with HUD cut out haha =) very very nice indeed.

u cant adjust the temperature. it is determined by what is set on ur main aircon controls. u can however vary the strength of air blowing out by the knob in between the 2 aircon vents at the rear. shldnt miss it, quite obvious

Re: Interior Care

hi salter,

thanks

i tried that already but air still seems too slow for the "hard to satisfy kids". i know for the front you can go max. i guess this does not apply for the rear vents...

Re: Interior Care

got a bottle of Zaino Leather-in-a-bottle after reading so much hype about it. Verdict - wasn't impressed with the product and felt it was over-rated. the leather smell was faint/weak and doesn't last > 2 day. Conditioning and softening wise was ok and pretty much similar to the autoglym and CS-II conditioner.

Having said I'm found this Presta Leather Conditioner @ Autobacs. Great leather smell (quite similar to Zaino but stronger) which lasted over a week (with same amount applied as Zaino's). Cost SGD17.90
