Anyone interested in ADT from Performance motors?

I took the course many years ago, and till today, it's been a life saver and definitely a worthwhile investment.

I'm opening up this on interest for the community just so we have at least a couple of safer drivers on the roads. Given that power levels have gone up in our cars, we don't have much driver training to go along together with our fast cars.

Don't be shy and list down your names here. If there's a confirmed number of interested folks, we can push for this as a community (and maybe, even a cost-effective price).

My review of it is here (Please note it's a super old thread back in 2005 - http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/events...driver-training-dates-personal-review-me.html) But i still recommend it.

what cost is it? I heard they did it at Pasir Gudang last yr
PS: u get to drive PML's BMW cars, not ours...no worries..:wavey:

Listed on the site now is 1,300. However i think in this time it can be negotiated, how much? Not sure, but if there's interest from the members, i'll go push for it.

Personally speaking, if this course can help you avoid nasty incidents (it has already saved you many times over the investment you put in initially)

hey ryan, is there any change in the syllabus? what are the modules they are going to be teaching? seriously considering, but will have to know whether they are stuff i already know.

Great course. Well worth going.
And yeap, use PML's cars and tyres. E90 330's the last time i went

Advanced Driver Training: Course Content

All training will be conducted at the Johor Circuit at Pasir Gudang, although course venue is dependent on availability. Performance Motors reserves the right to change the venue of the Driver Training course.

The Advanced Phase comprises of the following:

• A full-day programme
• Theory and practical exercises for defensive driving
• Exercises include Understeering, Oversteering, Emergency Braking, Emergency Avoidance without Braking and more
• Among other skills, you'll also learn how to control a spinning car and test yourself in a timed slalom trial
• End the thrilling day with a prize presentation, with trophies awarded to the top 3 drivers

Once you have completed the Advanced phase, you will have the opportunity to progress to the Intensive phase.

6:30am - 9:00am Meet Up at Sime Darby Centre for Coach Departure to
Pasir Gudang Circuit, Johor Bahru, Malaysia
9:00am - 10:00am Combined Theory Lesson 10:00am - 11:00am Double-Handed Slalom Group A Group B Group C 11:00am - 12:00pm Understeer

Hi all,

Just FYI - keep those names coming.

The very first Advanced Driver Training for this year will be held on the weekend of May 16 & 17.
Currently, both sessions are fully booked. I will let you know should anyone withdraws.

Fyi, the next training session will be in July. You will be notified once the dates are finalised.

actually i think it will. u also need to do IDT.....i did both 3x each.....the most important lessons in these.....your EYES.....
