Hi pals,

Just wonder for a non-warranty car, which option would you guys choose when buying/re-newing your insurance:- authorised or own workshop {that includes PML)?

Hi Benlopan,

For me, I dun really care.. as long as it is comprehensive, protects my 55% NCD, I will be happy to take it. For now, I am with China-Taiping Insurance, $1.2k /yr, $0 excess, any workshop and with NCD protection.

Wow James,

Your insurance quite low for your E60. Mine is about $1.3k plus under NTUC. I think AIG was quoting me $1.4k plus.

E60 after accident claim above 10K & 55% drop to 20% is $3200...

my car dealer said most BM go with Liberty, true? I paid more than 2k with 55% NCD for my E90

Nope.mostly lambo, ferrari, porsche, etc go to liberty or AXA.

For our beemers, go for one that gives the best rate n claim service.

for the past few years that i've checked, each time it seems the PML in-house insurance linkup with MSIG gave me the best quote. i just paid $1063 with 55% NCD but without COE cover
