hi guys,

I've got a used 325i convertible. got a question despite searching amongst frds for e past few days.

question regarding the function of headlamps, whether Auto or Manual switching. when the headlamps

are activated, is there any "light" icon appearing in the speedo display cluster? I mean, if

I switch on the front fog lamps, there s a "light" icon appearing in the display. but when

headlights are ON, there isn't any icon appearing, indicating tat the headlamp is ON.

Nope, when headlights are on, your speedo just illumiates.

If you leave ur headlights in auto mode, when they are activated, apart from your speedo cluster illuminating, there should be a green LED that lights up at the headlight knob area.

Oh! Thank you very much for your information. Now I finally understand. Yes, the small green led does lights up beside the Auto mode switch when headlights are activated.
