Installing an Oil catch can

Thinking it is worthwhile to fit an oil catch can to my humble ride given the general oil leakiness of the N46. Does anyone have a recommendation of brand (Cusco, Simota, D1 spec ...) and installer? Any other advice/opinions would be appreciated.

Must have baffles inside and must not introduce restriction (hoses with smaller diameter than the PCV hoses).......avoid locating it in the hot areas of the engine bay.

Easy reach to see and dispose of the oil etc inside.

I would say No Go but if u insist on installing, just choose one that is matching to your engine bay or a design u like... this is all i can humbly advise.

DI engines would be an exception for some ......

Don't waste money on oil catch can. Not necessary.

Thanks all bros for yr input, on a side topic is preventive replacement of the PCV valve a good idea or is that something which hardly ever spoil?

I tink most NA car don't come wi OCC as stock, so yes u may say it is not needed. However I believe that for oil leaky engines there may be an advantage as a preventive against fouling of your intakes. Furthermore its not such an exp mod.

Port injection don't need OCC. DI need OCC to ensure that oil don't choke up intake valve.
