Don't go through PI. Either do it yourself or get someone who knows the know-how do it for you.

I *believe* PML will import the 1 series next year. It'd be better to wait till then if you can.

It depends on your requirements as you would have a 2 yr BMW warranty anyway if you bring it in yourself. The 3rd year PML warranty covers the engine transmission etc. But they'll try to shortchange you if any major parts needs to be changed.

I think PML will bring in the 1er when they no long have Mini

Called them yesterday and they said that they will not bring in indefinitely.

Knowing PML, indefinitely is subject to change.

Still, the odds are low for them to bring the 1 series in. It won't sell.

the 1 series is about $35k-38k (116i-120i) OMV me thinks... so it should cost $97k-104k if the COE is $15k... add a profit to it and it automatically prices itself out...

compare this with the Golf GTI at OMV $30k... costs $86k (same 15k COE peg) selling at about $115k... guess for the same amount of $, 116i to GTi ... unless you are a bemmer fan...
