Hi all,

I'm driving up to M'sia Ipoh for a 3D2N getaway from 2/9/2006-4/9/2006. I would like to check if there is any forumer here from whom I can rent your GPS system for 3 days. I' ve still not decided to buy one, hence I'm thinking about renting rather than taking the plunge now. I suppose it is a fuss-free installation kit set.

I'm looking at reasonable rental fee. If you have a relatively new one with updated map, and a user-friendly one, pls sms me at 96950359. I hope to hear from you before my trip.

Why would u leave that out of your title?

I really don't know why the title is clipped. In the message itself the title is visible.

Hey I got this pm from this guy give him a call? Good luck
Hi,

I saw your post that you are planning to drive into Malaysia this coming National Day and I'd like to interest you to try out our affordable and effective GPS car tracking rental service (yes, rental) to provide car owners that extra peace of mind when driving in to Malaysia for holiday.

The first of its kind in Singapore, you can put our GPS device in your car and it will periodically send SMS messages to your mobile phone reporting the nearest road name and point of interest whenever the car is moving. There's no expensive purchase, no installation fuss and no complicated configuration. Simply put the GPS device in the car and you can be off for that driving holiday.

We are offering the following promotional rental pricing from now till 30 Aug 2006
1. Flat rental rate of GPS device at S$10 per day
2. Waiver of sms location messages charges
3. Waiver of deposit requirement

How can this help to recover your car in event of theft? I'll illustrate with a sample scenario:

1. You drive the car into Malaysia for a short holiday.

2. As long as your vehicle is moving, the device sends you a sms every 10 to 15 mins giving you the nearest road name and point of interest. So you know the device is working.

3. You stop and park the car at a rest point for lunch. As long as the car is stationary, the device does not sms you.

4. Say someone tries to break into your car while you are away and he manages to open the car door. The device would have detected the intrusion and will sms you right away informing you that it has detected motion.

5. If you're nearby, you can quickly go to your car to check and hopefully the car thief will run away.

6. If the thief has driven off or tow away your car, you will still receive sms messages periodically from the device telling you the location of your car, the speed and direction it is heading.

7. You get help from another car and try to catch up with your car. At the same time call the police. Chances of recovery is much higher as you will be able to tell the police the location of your car.

Please feel free to email me at ngkp@pinpoint.com.sg or call me at 90099103 if you'd like to try our service.
