Hurricane Air Filters - Anybody tried putting one in an E90 yet?

Hey All,

Got some CNY Angpao $$ so was wondering if I should invest in an after-market air filter for my E90.

Was looking at this Hurricane Air Filter thingy

Is it worth it to install.. or has anyone tried it yet?

And does doing this void my warranty with PML?

I bought and installed one in my E39 BMW 525i and I could feel the immediate improvement in the responsiveness of my engine, especially on the mid to high end RPM. Its certainly worth the investment considering that its washable and reuseable. My E39 was out of warranty already.

I'm not sure about warranty voids at PML, I'm finding out because I've sold my E39 and bought an E60. Not sure if PML will void my warranty if I install one for it.

Should not be a problem. But just remember to check if the performance filter is still there after each servcing. Won't be surprised if they just throw it away. Becoz they are :screwedu:
