First read about it in the papers abt a week or so ago. Got an invite from a Veedub PI to go see their new marques and was surprised to see the Hummer there.
It's not as big as the H2 or the big daddy (that I saw in the US), but it is incredibly roomy inside. Build quality is definitely not Teutonic. I believe they are assembled in South Africa, but it is pretty ergonomic and driving position is good. Rims and brakes were a tad small. Despite the size of the beast, the visibility inside the car seemed to be pretty good. Even my wife who usually finds it hard to see out of our cars found the visibility very good.
But it is definitely a damn unique car to be running in SG, but dunno for how long. Heard, they already took 6 orders!
Value for $$ is low though. I think the 245k list price is a bit high considering the BMW X3 is about as practical and costs almost 100k less (if I remember correctly). Trim/specs was very basic. No memory seats, but the seats were fully motorized, with lumbar support.
