How to understand

[V6ENGINE]

Dear Seniors,

in our cars, there are 2 dials (one on the left and the other on the right). Below the right dial, there is a gauge that show consumption. Can anyone tell me how this works? I cannot make out how this gauge really works to show me fuel consumption. Thanking all in advance.

Also when we switch off the engine, i notice that the parking light at the gear knob area is still lighted up even after i lock the car. Is this normal? why is the light is on? how long does t take to be off and why is the light there even after i switch off the engine and lock the doors?

the gauge on the right is your fuel economy at any given point in time. step on the accelerator more and u realise the needle swings right, indicating higher consumption.

the light appears for a while. its normal. will go off after 10mins or so.

dun read too much into it... honestly i did that in the begining....took away all my fun and spirted driving.
be it @ 20... it wun affect too much in f/c.

u cant really control that la. else wheres the fun in driving? besides its good to give ur engine a little of a rev at times, else it gets sluggish.
