how to reset brake pads warning light in idrive?

hello people...my brake pads servicing had come on the i drive and i buy the pads myself and installed it at my friend's workshop... but the lights didnt reset...do i have to go back PML? or is there any outside workshop that can reset it?

Don't u need to buy a new pad sensor together with the pads after the light has come on before?

hm..i didnt buy the pad sensor cos i bought it online.... still using the old sensor... any idea where i can get it?

the brake sensor should cos you around $20.... I too changed my brake pads and dint change my sensor. Went down to BMWorkshop in Alexandra village and got the sensor replaced. Apparently, you need to know also the code for your sensor and then reset it from your console to get rid of the warning light.

*not too sure if it works e same with iDrive. dun own a car with iDrive....yet....heh...
