Last saturday, i bought a can of Gummi-Pflege or rubber care from PML. ES don't have it. I only applied on rubber seal of driver door & rear right door. As compared to the other half of the car, the rubber seal is spongy now. I don't have the wind noise anymore.vegadonovan;524220 said:I have tried a lot of sprays and lotions. none helped. I can't get gummi pfledge .... So I used BMW leather lotion as some suggested in E60 forums..... It stopped the squeaks already. Its been 2 months already. So I wipe the rubber seals down every other months.
good to hear that. wish that gummi pflege lasts a little longer on the rubber. it almost has to be reapplied every week. or is the rber so absorbant that it soaks up the lubricants.davidtch;543882 said:Last saturday, i bought a can of Gummi-Pflege or rubber care from PML. By the way, PPSL has moved to Kampung Arang.
Nowadays, it is a liquid spray. 1st, u need to spray it on a pc of cloth. Only then it could be applied on the rubber seal. By end ot this wk, i will check it out whether rubber seal still spongy.Slater;543999 said:good to hear that. wish that gummi pflege lasts a little longer on the rubber. it almost has to be reapplied every week. or is the rber so absorbant that it soaks up the lubricants.
i got a little sponge brush from homefix. spreads the lubricants more evenly and accurately. also avoids wastage.davidtch;544080 said:Nowadays, it is a liquid spray. 1st, u need to spray it on a pc of cloth.
