How to remove bird stains off convertible top?

Those pesky birds have been dropping countless excrements onto my convertible top for quite some time now .. how do i effectively remove them ? you see , after i pour water n use tissue to remove the stain...there's a white stain left behind... any suggestions ? oh yeah , even washing with car shampoo , still doesnt solve the issue .. the white will eventually turn greyish and leaves very unsightly mark there

not sure on how to cure that 'TOP PRIZE' on ur car,but i have never seen any convertible top with such problems b4.

i always carry a bottle of the PML canvas top cleaner spray thingy in the boot ....

ALWAYS ALWAYS spray immediately onto the bird shit affected area n leave it for a couple of minutes to remove the stain more effectively... never leave the bird shit stain uncleaned for more than a day...

think the cleaner spray thingy is abt S$20+ .... GO GET ONE now!!!

It's a good idea not to use normal tissue paper altogether - keep a box of wet tissues (baby wipes) handy instead, they don't tear easily so you can use them as "first aid."

Try using a tooth brush to remove the stains slowly.. but dun use it to brush you teeth after that.. might leave the stains on your teeth.. hhehehehe..

Toothbrush, lotsa water. Dun wanna wash it down the side of the canvas and leave a nice long stain. Get the top cleaner as suggested by pg7170.

The tissue with rub off onto the canvas so no point. Cabrio top care can be time consuming. But top down driving is enjoyable. Part n parcel of things.

im not in sg , prolly has to get through ab or something .. .i found out that by using my fingernails..i could actually scrub the stuff out..but of course..the finger gets black..hehe.

Funny but I do get bird poo on my soft top sometimes but they are easily removed using wet tissue/cloth... just dap off. Don't rub on it as you are just making it worse.
