How to open battery compartment?

sounds silly but after unscrewing the two screws, i still cant seem to take out the cover... mine is a E46 face lift... dont want to break the cover or something.... hmm...

The carpet is holding the other 2 groove at the other end and needs to be pried up before the batter cover can be taken out.

yea lift e carpet up a little...done it a few times...no prob...no breakage heh
