hi pj.....as a start u can always go with the simple mod 1st...
1. UUC pulley - cost ard $420......(u can get a second hand ard the 200plus region)
2. Volker Racing Spark Plugs - cost $150 for 6 pot engine/ or $25 per plug
3. KNN drop in air filter - cost ard $100
4. O-bit - cost ard $900

so far for myself....i already try out the above 3 simple mod....except item 4(O-bit)...which I planning to do soon. My feedback on abt mods is.......value for money.

The most I like is the Volker Racing Spark Plug........if u need further info abt the plug.....can always PM our bro yendor......sure he will hlp u out.....
