Hi, it's actually quite simple. I usually just ask the pump attendants to help me close the side window, just like I ask them to help me pump tyre air and almost about everything else including but not limited to asking where is best car wash n sometimes where is Eng Soon.

They know everything. Confirm!

F30 got a button at the drivers door panel(right beside the side mirrors adjusting knob). Alternatively you can press the bmw remote(press on the bmw icon for 10s)

Caution - please check your manual before pushing those buttons in your car. Hearsay is that the buttons were pushed in a certain order by mistake and it activated a feature to permanently deactivate the car and put it in hibernation. Ireverssible.

Its very similar in the button sequence to closing the side mirror.

Seriously, is this your first car or are you pretending to be noob? If your car comes with auto-close feature, the mirrors can close automatically. If not, they won't close. The same applies to all car makes, not just BMW.
