If u are looking to upsize and if you have the storage space, why not keep these rims. Put them back and sell your bigger rims on their own when u sell your ride. No loss as I see it since your tyres already clocked 30,000km.
If u track your car, then u can also consider keeping these rims to be used for tracking.
that's way too optimistic... i agree that $500 is about as much as you'll get for rims and tyres with 30k mileage... assuming that they're undamaged and uncurbed.
hitmee,
try to PM jaskin, he was looking for m68 a while back for use as track rims
i once considered getting those 2nd hand from brothers in this forum as they were all selling at an affordable price between 500-650 with tyres..never saw anything more than that price.

I remember 2.5 years ago before the Sport Edition launched in Singapore. These M68 Rims are very rare and if you buy from PML will cost about S$800 to S$900/Rim without Tyres.
Back then someone offer to sell these rims with tyres for S$2K
Frankly these rims are very good rims because it is very light. But Sport Edition come with 7.5J x 17 (225/45/R17) Front and 8.5J x 17 (245/40/R17) Back. So buying tyres will have problem and cost more
Yes, he can but u will become Shameless No.2 after that..hahaha..jk
Seriously, keep the rims if u hv storage. It sounds bloody damn stupid to sell those rims at a small fraction of the brand new price. This market sucks big time.
