I have Roadster cabriolet lurve :)

What do you guys think is a fair price for a '96 Z3 with a new COE and about 60,000km on the road? Not sure if asking price I've been quoted is too high.

Cheerios ...

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

i believe dealers will be asking for est. 80k. saw 1 on friday night at st james' carpark

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

Dealer's asking for $86k (neg). Hmmmmm. Such a lovely, lovely car. Does anyone have an opinion on its reliability? Any known long-term issues with the Z3? It's that or cough up for a used Z4 which will be like $50k more ...

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

Friend of mine bought one a few months ago for just under S$80k. Two owners, low mileage, silver auto, 97 car with ten year COE, maybe minus a few months. Not sure which engine as I'm not a Z3 expert and my friend is out of town at present.

Hope this helps.

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

hmmm...hihi! hehee....of Z3 is the topic...im interested! anywayz, is the car auto or manual? 1.9L 2.0L or 2.5L? whats the price quoted to u? these cars go for ard 8.5K depreciation depending on condition. its a rare beauty and its instant collectible. keep it a couple of decades becomes a classic.

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

It's a 1.9L auto, first generation Z3. Asking for $86k neg. It IS a damn chio car. Hmmmmm. Need to start searching under sofa for loose change...

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

I guess its the autobahn car? nice gd cond' , low mileage, comes with hardtop too. can buy. try to neg to 80k lol

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

Found $79k worth of loose change in the washing machine!!...... was looking for the 1st gen Z3 1.9L but not many in the mkt. Suspect mostly got exported out due to the high COEs then

haiz.................

Re: How much for a '96 Z3?

Why not look for a facelifted Z3 that comes with a 2.2 L M54 engine which appeared circa 2002?

No offence to anyone but the fist generation Z3 with the 1.9 L engine (in the James Bond movie) was criticised for being underpowered. Also, IMHO, the facelifted Z3 had a much more attractive rear end. Then again, I'm biased becos I owned such a facelifted Z3 before.
