hey bro, I'm contemplating between a Macbook Air 13" and a Macbook Pro 13"... Prefer something light but the limitation of USB ports and battery on MBA worries me... Can give some golden advise???

Me too, all iphone versions, Macbook pro, Macbook air and ipad 1, apple tv, ipod, ipod nano, ipod shuffle.
Dun know since when i become so APPLE....

I think the battery life of MBA vs MBP is already stated at Apple website. Within MBA and MBP, also different specs available. Bear in mind you can also spec your Mac beyond what the website stated and the Apple store advisor can advise you.
The more common question people ask is whether to get MBA or MBP and if choose MBA, to choose 11" or 13". To me, I buy MBA coz it is compact and as such, will only go for the 11". it is never meant to be a heavy duty lappy for me as the end in mind is to travel light and be able to so some light work on it. For heavy duty, I will rely on my MBP which is like a home computer to me. The MBP is way too heavy to lug around for travelling purpose.

I agree the MacBook Air 11" is more ideal given its function of more to a netbook nomenclature though Apple doesn't market it as one. I bought the MacBook Air 13" however due to the fact that this laptop is what I use for traveling and I work heavily on Excel files. So it really depends. I tried the MacBook Pro and it's even heavier than my 12 inch Dell. Prefer the MacBook Air as a traveling/outing device anytime.

Almost a little ashamed to admit the number of Apple gear I have. Been using Apple products since secondary school. I justify the purchases on the ground that AAPL shares have more than paid for all my purchases (yes, I bought AAPL at $25) -- a little lame I know. Here goes:

I sold my ipad though, after i got my MBA, the ipad got left on the shelf.
Now i got what i need, iMac 27, MBA and iphone.
I must say the iOS5 update slows the phone so much, might need to upgrade.

Guys, I know this is a silly question. I intend to get a MBA/MBP and main usage are documents processing like MS Word & Excel. I understand there is a Mac-based MS Office however is it backward compatible with older MS office version on Windows-based PC? Just realised my office still using Windows Office 2003 la :verysad:
