of coz taking into consideration the perception in certain quarters that political correctness is evil i can also be the evil one, and the good men are pressing me down for bring political correctness into the picture.

There is no doubt that even if you had not brought it up, someone else would have so its clearly suggestive that this whole thing was inevitable given the tone of Bobbys choice of words.. As much as I know it was a joke and it was all in the name of fun, I also would have expected something to spark up which is why I tried to deviate from this whole issue. If Bobby is a racist, I would have BBQed him beyond recognition by now. Fortunately he is a nice fun guy who just is the wrong guy at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I know the concern based on some replies from some members here and i agree it is an exceptionally natural one. Given 2 different parties, I would have asked the same question.
