How bad does performance drop from 17' - 19"?

Got a question here, just how bad 19" rims in staggered would slow down the performance of OEM 17" on a 325i? assuming the 19" weight the same as 17"

Suffer more on Top speed/ standstill acceleration or midway acceleration?

I know 19' is not good, but i am eager to find out how bad they're gonna be.

E.g. Previously can reach 240km/h, now can only reach 220km/h? issit?

- Acceleration is slower
- Braking is slower
- Pocket is poorer
- Look is better, psychological only coz ur stock rotors will be like the size of roti prata relatively speaking and then u will want bigger brakes so double poorer

If u ask me, how often u go 220kmh? if u dont drive to Malaysia then u won't even ever reach 200kmh, i dare you..

now just go and do it, boost the economy and happy days

Really got so much difference har? I went from the 17 with runflats to 18 CHs and now 19 staggered and did not really feel a whole lot of difference and mine is the 323. Surely the 325 will be much better!

not sure the power, some 19" rims are light,
only can confirm look will improve a lot, sui.
boost economy, dun think so but the seller pocket will be alot

Oh ya! I am using the Progressive ME and it is forged. Yes, forgot to mention that. You know, it does not look all that big too! But that is definitely my limit. I also scared to lose too much ick up. Cheers! and happy shopping.

Forget about those performance concerns. You're driving a Bimmer, looks is everything. Whack on those 19s...heck, might as well go for 21s while you're at it. The performance park can be taken care of later.

I've got 21s on my 6er...no biggy...still handles like a rocket on rails.

agree with tripleM... however, remember when you up size to 19", you will need BBKs... cos without it, it will look kind of funny... my car park got one M5 look alike, brakes stock, took me by surprise cos i thought the M5 brakes looked damn small.. true enough, it was a 520...
