Exactly, and hence, the defence against her should not be based on her "budget."

This runs parallel to what you expect from an authorised dealer - you should be treated (rougly) the same whether you buy a 316 or a 335, or am I wrong here?

Scoot's seats seemed to have been from the 1980s and that she was not given a blanket and pillow in Business Class.

The Hong Kong "star", who caught an early morning flight to Taiwan for the Golden Horse Awards from Singapore, also said that service was slow and poor, reported Shin Min Daily News.

She also said they almost could not get onto the plane despite trying to reason with them and still getting scolded by the crew.

when you take scoot or any budget airlines, what do you expect?
"service slow and poor" - how to define? Eg. I waited 10mins to get my drink because there is only 2 server in the plane that consist of 150person compared to her previous experience of taking cathy's business class that has 2 server servicing 20pax.
anyway, a budget line's "business class" is similar to full flight economy, if not worst off.

by the way, who is this Denise Ho? taking budget airline to Taiwan to attend Golden Horse Award speaks a lot about her value to the company.

Ah... the picture becomes clearer now.

A more relevant example would be if you bought (i) a bare minimum 316 versus (ii) a fully specced out 316 with full options M seats, BBK, rims, OLED SW etc etc. If a person bought (i), why the heck should he or she be screaming about no memory seats or brakes/rim don't look chio enough etc. Similarly, SQ (in the past) and Scoot offer the same base 772s but don't expect KrisWorld, 8-ply supalux backside paper and TWG tea served in gold gilded Givency teacups when one chooses the no frills option.

Having said that, basic courtesy is a number one rule in crew training. Tiger, SilkAir, Scoot or mainline, the pax should never be treated badly no matter the circumstances.
