4300K = Whitest / (however doesn't really show that blue tint), however..brightest and longest throw of beam.

6000K = Slight blu-ish tint, favourite of the people who like a bit of show-off..

8000k and above = Purplish blue light...after a while..become your eyes also become blind. Not recommended.

I was using 4300K. Very good stuff.

No trouble with police because alot of BMWs come equipped with HID lights...anyway, it's not an issue unless you never adjust properly and you hit a TP drinking-check stop at night...

Not too sure about the fine amount tho...

Cheers!

Hmm ... the prob is mine's a E36 ... and i dont think E36 came wif HIDs back them hahaha

Dont know if i can evade their attention notz ...

talking abt this.. by changing the angel eye.. do we need to change the bulb as well?

Well, at your own discretion! :)

Yep, the bulb is different.

From normal halogens to HID, it's the Ballast and Bulb + projector lens that's very different from the normal halogen.

That's why it costs so much.

A new Xenon HID system installed at PML is around 6k?

That's because it includes the autoleveling mechanism also, which is required by law.

What kind of angel eyes are u talking about? LED?

IMO, CCFL angel eyes totally rules ... its so bright, its impossible to capture the lights at night wif a HP camera and the best part is its still relatively visible even when the low beams are turned  on ...

actually quite confused abt the whole angle thingy with different technology like DDE and CCFL.. maybe check with you guys tomorrow.. kekeke..

Well, from my limited knowledge DDE actually stands for Daytime Demon Eyes. In other words, the rings are very clearly visible during daytime.

And from what i know, onli OEM (5 series) and CCFL angels eyes can be clearly seem in broad daylight.

CCFL is basically a round tube of light ... so it creates a very even glow to the whole circle :inlove:

Yeah,, if want to do, must do it right.. Was 'shined' by a 7series the other night traveling on CTE towards city. May be it was me, I don't know. It seems to be driving with the highbeam on all the time.. quickly I took evasive manuvour to get out of the way...

I don't know whether its the leveling of the beam.. it hit my eyes as I look at my rear view mirror..

I used to have after market HIDs on my e36 for about 1 year... never had any problems with them... just don't go out of your way to stand out of the crowd and you will not have a problem...
