My name is Michael and I just got my E60 520i. I've been owning Japanese cars because of their cost effective maintenance and reliability. Not sure why I buy a BMW but I guess I like the safety features. I could've gone for Lexus which is Japanese made but was advised by other half to go for continental cars since Lexus GS300 costs a bit more. Also, we considered Mercedes E200 but was not very impressed with the interior when compared to 520i and also price wise it was higher. I guess that is why we came to buy a bimmer. Hope to learn much more from experienced BMW owners on this forum.
