Hi to all bros out there!! I am new to this forum, and looking for some help

I am looking out for a used 318 ... wondering what should be e expected depreciation like for a 2000 -2002?
Milleage travel in a litre? What should i be looking out for when checking out the condition of the car?

Think u can look for depre of bout 9-10k per yr there about or even slighly under if u r lucky..
And the model is pre Face Lift one too.

As for the condition of the car, u can do these following:
1. Send to Vicom for full inspection check
or
2. Send to PML for the same check
Both are basically for ease of mind and do remember that u will need to pay for this

Mileage per litre varies with one's driving style, traffic condition amongst small other factors like what modifications hv been done to the car bla bla

But I would think for a combined urban + highway driving would be in the region of 10-11L/100km

If u ask me, I think it's better for ya to buy a Face Lifted model one, meaning late 2002 onwards and pay a little more depre.

There are 2 kinds of 318 in the mkt. There is the 1.9litre 110bhp version that came out in 1998 and were sold till mid or end 2001 (guys pls correct me, I not too familiar as to when the new valvetronic engine come out) and there is a 2litre 140bhp version that came out thereafter. Dun buy the wrong engine hor. The former is very underpowered. Since u are looking for 2000-2002 models, juz thought u need to know there is a difference. Cheers!

T6 is right.

1998- before Apr2002 would be the pre-face lift 318i at 110bhp. 1895cc

Apr2002 till Dec2004 would be the face lifted 143bhp valvetronics. 1995cc
