Hi there,

I'm new here and would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

I am comtemplating to buy a BMW E46 around 1992-1993 make (auto). Can anyone pls advice on any adverse reports on this model? Btw, I'm in my mid-40s and likes golf and currently driving a Mitsubishi Lancer.
I would treat every advice seriously before committing to the switch.

I drive an 1994 E36 and am very happy with it. Car being old, will cost a bit to put things back into perspective.. but most of the parts last pretty well. I also bring it to the track once a while not as a serious sport but more as a discovery of the car and my driving skill.

Like you, I am in my 40s and have settled for this E36 which is still affordable and a great car to drive. After the E30, it's hard to switch brand as not many car handles like a bimmer with I am prepared to pay. Hope you will enjoy your car as much as I did if you found one too.

Hi there waterskin and welcome to the forum. You don't have to worry too much about getting the E36 as it's a great car to drive. Moreover there are many gurus here that's driving the E36 to help you if the need ever arise. All the best in your search for your dream car. BTW you like playing the guitar izzit?
