Hey guys wassup. It was really nice at the meetup, I ve seen some incredible vehicles.
I am really having this thing buzzing me, tell me what you think:
Here;s how is things:
I am thinking of buying a used bmw 520iAuto from Singapore as an export. It is a 5/2002 model fully loaded. Car has the M54 engine, and it has covered 55.000 miles.
I have witnessed some problems though, please advise me what you think of them:
1. Pixel problem. The dash seems to have a pixel problem, pixels showing erradically, and not showing all the numbers and letters how they are supposed to.
2. Auto Transmission problem: Transmission although at the beginning of the test drive it was ok, at one minute when I released the accelerator at around 40mph, it shifted to 5th, pushing the car forward and I heard a noise from the transmission axle. Later, at a medium power acceleration from standing still, I noticed that the 1st to 2nd gear shift was rough, so it pushed me forward.
3. The drivers seat plastic where the electric buttons are is out of place and almost hanging outwards.
Are these three things serious enough for me not to buy the vehicle?
Please advice as I need and answer soon.
