Hi Guys and Gals...Please help

Hi all,
Never expect myself to convert to Beemer after driving a Lexus for almost 6 years. I've several questions that I hope some kind souls here can help to answer, thanks.

Car: Black 320i Professional (just collected it last week)

1. Bootlit spoiler - Where can I get this besides PML (est. price)
2. Metallic silver window outline(dunno how to call that) but it has it in 323 & 325.
3. Good 1st coat polish for my car, recommendations??? I used to go GLARE off ubi for my last car.
4. Valet key, I was issued with 2 remote control keys but do not have a valet ket whereby I can keep it in my pocket whenever I go jogging, swimming...etc..
5. Any solution to turn down or eliminate the seat belt sound and the right & left indicators sound?
6. How to check the radiator temp, there is no gauge on the car panel??

Hope some of these questions can be answered, thanks in advance.

Sorry to disspoint you guys...hmm...u guys must be deprived of something

Really no radiator temp gauge

The sound is irritating to me, the Lexus use to be very quiet in this area.

Jeremy, I think it is impossible for any car not to have a temp guage. Show me a picture of your dashboard

the indicator sound is irritating? are you really serious? You know why it has a sound right? You can change the flasher can, but yours is electronic, maybe try to put a lexus one in there.
The seatbelt sound cant be turned down, again, this is a noise added for your safety

Welcome to the forum!

1. U can get the a variety of spoilers from Milk15, Eng Soon, etc. All found in our Resource page.

2. U can post up in the Bazaar Area and see if anyone wants to swap with u and u topping up a bit. There are quite a few pple looking to "black out" their rides and would prefer your black window trim.

3. Some go to Juzz Brilliant etc. I go to R2D, 1 of our resident sponsor.

4. I don't think valet keys are issued anymore right? I know I was given 2 FOB and no valet keys. Maybe someone else can confirm?

5. The sounds cannot be turned down or turn off. For the seatbelt chime, if u want to turn it off, u can either DIY a plastic piece and slot it into the buckle and drive without a seatbelt or u can go back to PML and request for them to switch it off. U have to sign an indemity form though.

6. Sorry, can't help u there.

I think my E90 also does not have temp gauge. My honda jazz also does not have temp gauge.

This key needs to be programmed by PML so I think you will be forced to go back to them for this.

Not sure how to help, the car does not come with a temp gauge. I remember when I first got the car and I looked for it and there was nothing.

regarding valet key:

i thought that the key fob also functions as a "valet key" if you remove the bottom metal key attachment which can be used to lock your glove and boot/trunk....

or do you really just want a 3rd key fob?

I actually am looking for a key to open the doors, no buttons and has the keyway, it do not need to start the car. The reason is because I want to carry it with me when I go jogging and then open the dorrs of my car when I'm back from jogging, that's my purpose.

The electronic keys may not be water proof and its bulky.

i notice that the temp gauge not included in the dashboard too but what the heck, BMW cant have missed that out during installation, rite !!!

so i guess conti don't need it and one less thing to worry about !!!

yup, the seatbelt ding-dong is irritating ..... muz get it done at next PML session.... :laughlik:
