Hi everyone

I'm new here...Oh I drive an E90 320i almost 2 yrs old...just to want to find out more about its pecularities (usually diff make and models have their own) and of course make new frens and learn more about the car...
I do like to play badminton and the moment plays once a week fr 3-5 (if anyone interested let me know and I will get back to you with regards the location).
Recently the car seems to jerk occasionally. I wonder if my pressure on the throttle is the cause of it. But i did read somewhere that its a common problem with this car - in the wrong gear at the wrong time when you want to accelerate resulting in jerkiness (like the car dont know which gear it should be in)

common but nothing serious. especially going up multi story car parks.

some have suggested resetting the transmission settings in the car.

but wouldnt it be dangerous in an overtaking manouvre esp if you hit the throttle and the gear is not engaged with only revvings (every second counts in such a situation esp so with oncoming vehicles)? so far happens in low gear 2nd or third i suspect...

hi melayu3456...welcome...if ur car is still under warranty, can bring to PML to ask them to check..if not, u can consider to get opinion from the workshops listed in this forum..cheers
