so far, i am a fan of this site! it's pretty informative.

i'm looking for a strictly manual bmw.
either 316 or 318.

actually i was looking for another 316 - like the old one i had, which was beautiful.
but i test drove 2 bmws yesterday, a 316 and a 318. i was really impressed with the 318!

people i've spoken to seems to think 318 is a better choice as they tell me petrol consumption is lesser?

well-that remains to be seen
