i am based in botswna, africa and am just about to buy a 2001 320i formerly used in singapore. i would like to find out as much information as possible about BMW 320i E46, as i have never driven a BMW before. the singapore registration number of the car is SCN 2525E. who knows, i might even be able to locate the previous owner of the vehicle who might give me some tips!
any info welcome.......... many people are buying used cars from singapore in my country and not everyone gets a good deal as there is always some risk associated with used cars..... it can be a headache when all service history and past owner details aren't available.
even if you could give me some contact details for BMW dealerships in Singapore so i can forward the VIN numbers and have them look the car up fr me. i like the car but it feels good to be reassured and have someone to share experiences with.
i noticed when i took the car for a spin that the teltale lights for ASC, ABS, and park brake would stay on and there was a slight noise heard when the air conditioner is swiched on. could these be major concerns or just minor?.......... im trying to keep in mind that the car must not have been driven for a long time before getting it here.
