Help!

Just bought a 2nd hand E60 (525i XL) last week,
here's the issue,last week when i pump petrol,everything is fine,but today when the petrol pump sign appeared on the screen and i went to pump petrol,the gauge when back up to "1" but the computer screen is still showing the "you need to pump petrol sign" ...the arrow with the petrol pump sign
can i know how to get rid of the sign?
or is there something wrong with the car?
any adivse is greatly appreciated

Bro, the arrow with the petrol pump sign is the number of KM you have BEFORE the next pump.

When you are low on petrol, the warning is a triangle with an exclamation mark, and the words "Fuel reserve" on your iDrive.

Try depressing the "bottom button on your signal indicator", and you will see your petrol pump sign with arrow change to several different options, e.g. average speed, fuel consumption etc.
